Meet Dr. Lawson
Carolina Kids Dentistry in Mint Hill is thrilled to introduce Dr. Nehemiah Lawson, also called “Dr. Nemo”. He was born in Berkenfeld, Germany and raised in Columbus, GA where he graduated top of his class from Columbus High School. Dr. Nemo went to college at the University of Georgia (“Go Dawgs”), where he completed multiple degrees in Biology (Neuroscience emphasis) and Theatre with honors. He then went on to pursue acting opportunities while completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Nemo completed a two-year post-doctoral pediatric residency at Baylor School of Dentistry (now known as Texas A&M) in conjunction with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Residency gave him the exclusive opportunity to gain additional skills in pediatric medicine, oral and IV sedation, anesthesia, orthodontics and behavior management.
When not in the office, Dr. Nemo enjoys all things performing arts and you can catch him frequently in shows around the immediate Charlotte area and upcoming films. He also enjoys traveling, fitness, concerts, hiking with his German shepherd, and trying restaurant scenes across the country.
Dr. Nemo is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and aims to make each and every visit to the dentist fun and comfortable for your young one!
